San Juan, Puerto Rico – With immense pride and excitement, the Olga Iglesias Project (OIP) announces the selection of its third class of fellows for the 2023-2024 Olga Iglesias Scholarship Program. These outstanding artists were chosen through a rigorous competitive process, distinguishing themselves as exceptional talents in the field of classical singing. Their passion, skill, and dedication to their craft are inspiring, and we eagerly anticipate their contributions to advancing Puerto Rico’s musical legacy.
To celebrate this achievement, OIP presents New Voices of Autumn: Celebrating Our Music and Talent, a special recital that will mark the debut of our three new fellows. Join us at the Chapel of the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón on November 28, 2023, at 7 PM, for an unforgettable evening that will serve as a cornerstone for our artistic community.
Each artist will perform a selected repertoire, offering a vibrant tapestry of vocal artistry that reflects the richness and depth of their talents. The night will be guided by pianist Ernesto Busigó, who will accompany each performance with his musical mastery.
New Voices of Autumn is not just a concert; it is a declaration of OIP’s commitment to fostering the growth of Puerto Rican talent and an opportunity for the community to witness the blossoming careers of artists who will carry forward the torch of our musical heritage.
