Bio:

Shelzie Ramos is a young soprano, a recent graduate from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico in vocal performance. She has been involved in the productions of emerging composers singing original art songs and has had collaborations with Christian musicians and singers such as José Luis Reyes and Luis Santiago. In 2016 she opened the Christmas showcase of the radio station 92.1 for the singer Isabel Valdés, a renowned Dominican singer, as a main member of the group “Kairos”. Being a student of the CMPR, she participated in the opera “Suor Angelica” under the direction of the late Prof. Antonio Barasorda and also in the opera “Hänsel und Gretel” under the direction of Prof. Ilca López. Her future projects include obtaining her masters in voice, and in turn, begin a career as an opera singer representing Puerto Rico.
